Compose Your Career co-founder Jayme Stone will share everything you need to know about successfully booking your own shows and tours. This four-hour workshop in-person workshop will be divided int two parts: “Branding & Story” and “How to Book Yourself Without an Agent.” You’ll learn how to:

• Frame your music in a compelling story so you can get more press, magnetize better gigs and share your music with confidence

• Learn to find and pitch presenters, create conversation, follow-up effectively and negotiate fees

Sessions will take place at the Folk Alliance Conference at the Westin Hotel in Kansas City on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm.
